In this episode, Everton Lewis, Partner at Impact Signal, sits down with Jayesh Srivastava, Principal at BCG X, to talk about behavioral science, its impact on UX, dark patterns, creating a collaborative design environment, and thoughts around the future of human-centered design.
Behavior Design at CNN
2022
I spoke at the Behaviour & Design Conference about the work of the product strategy team at CNN and how we unpacked how and why users consume the news. I described the process of defining user archetypes that CNN uses to group users by their motivations, pain points and jobs-to-be-done. I described the 5 Breaking News archetypes we uncovered, how each consumes the news differently and how we can build products and features to meet their particular needs.
Building User Trust
2021
when we will be joined by some fantastic panellists to discuss the best ways of engaging with users, as well as how to establish strong and trusting relationships with them.
One of these panellists is Dr. Jayesh K. Srivastava, PhD π€΅, Principal Design Strategist, Core News CNN. In his previous role at BCG Digital Ventures he built and launched digital companies across the healthcare, consumer and fintech industries.
His work focused on leading teams to deeply understand user needs, attitudes and motivations, translate them into market opportunities and then develop products that users would keep coming back to.
Come to this event and hear from Jayesh and our other excellent panelists π£οΈ who will share their professional experiences and insights to help you build trust with your users.
How to Grow Design Thinking in an Organization
